1940s Replica Dusky Pink Floral Tribute Square Neck Dress With Sleeves

This soft dusky pink ditsy floral frock looks like it has just stepped out of the forties era. Replicated from an original rationed 11011 or "double elevens" dress, the Tribute is authentic, feminine and flattering.

The pink is darker than pictured, but it is as described a dusky pink.

The front bodice has a square neckline, with light gathering towards the shoulders and small fabric-covered shoulder pads. The horizontal broad tuck flap on the bodice has a double loop tie which can be tied in a bow or knotted as you like.

Soft gathers into the bust cups and an inverted V waist seam that extends to the sides to create an accurate 40s silhouette, with a full skirt that has plenty of swing. The straight sleeves hug the upper arm.

There is a concealed zip at the side to fasten.

At the back, there is an additional small placket opening at the neckline with silver metal hooks and hand-worked loops exactly like our original.

Twill weave polyester fabric that falls beautifully and is easy to care for.

The bodice is a snug fit across the back and shoulders. We would recommend going up a size if you have a large bust or broad shoulders.
